How do I pay by credit card?
Just enter your credit card details when ordering on the website.
Our secure payment gateway encrypts the Card Numbers and prohibits anyone from acessing them
over the net. The card will be charged as per your order value and the CDs/VCDs/DVDs.

How do I pay by Cheque?
We accept Cheques of all banks accredited to the Reserve Bank of India. When paying by cheque, you need to submit your cheque number along with other details when prompted to do so on the website.
Please follow these simple steps:
The cheque should be drawn in favour of "Saregama India Ltd.".
Please write your Order Number, name and e-mail ID at the back of the cheque.
Please mark the envelope in bold letters "Hamaracd".
You should mail the cheque to the following address:

How do I drop cheque at HDFC Bank?
1. The cheque should be drawn in favour of "Saregama India Ltd. - HDFC Bank A/c No. 133205000 0011".
2. Please write your Order Number, name and e-mail ID at the back of the cheque.
3. Please fill in the challan as shown below with the details of the cheque number and your bank branch details.

4. Please send an email to hamaracd.support@saregama.co.in giving details of your order number, date of the drop of the cheque at HDFC bank branch at which the cheque was dropped. This would help us to follow up with HDFC bank regarding your cheque clearance.
5. In case you are not able to drop your cheque at an HDFC branch, Please do the following:
(a) Please mark the envelope in bold letters "Hamaracd (HomeVideo)".
(b) Please mail the cheque to the our mailing address.

Can I pay by outstation cheques?
We would encourage you to use the Credit Card option for the quickest delivery. However, if you do send an outstation cheque, we will make the shipment to you once the cheque is cleared, which could take from 5 to 10 business days.You need to send only the order amount to us and there is no clearance charges to be paid by you.

How soon can I expect delivery of my CD/VCD/DVD?
If you pay by credit card, you can expect delivery within 14 business days from the date of order.
If you pay by cheque, your CD/VCD/DVD will be shipped within 14 business days of your cheque being cleared. Local cheques (issued from Bangalore) will take 2 to 4 business days to be cleared. Outstation cheques will take 5 to 10 business days to be cleared.
Note: Don't forget to write the order ID number on the back of the cheque. Otherwise, delivery could be delayed.
You can check the order status of your CD/VCD/DVD on the My Account page at any time after placement of your order.

Will I have to pay Sales Tax?
The amount paid by you is inclusive of sales tax, central excise tax and shipping and handling charges.

What are my freight and shipping charges?
All freight and shipping charges are borne by us. You get your CD/VCD/DVD delivered to your doorstep, without paying anything extra for shipping.

What if the items are damaged or defective?
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a free replacement upon receipt of the defective item along with details of Order Number and the nature of defect. Please ensure that the complaint is brought to our notice within 15 days of the CD receipt. Please note that we will not be able to do anything for complaint received after 15 days.
Note: You need to send us the defected item to the below mentioned Contact Address. The replacement is done only if the nature of defect is reasonable and if it is accepted by the concern department.

How are the CD/VCD/DVDs packaged for despatch?
All CD/VCD/DVD dispatched by us are packed with wrapped. This wrapped box is in turn packed in an outer envelope with bubble wrap lining inside to ensure safe transportation.

What if the power goes off while I am shopping or there is an error in the server connection?

Once you have found your CD/VCD/DVD through search or browsing categories, just click on "BUY NOW" Image and your CD/VCD/DVD will be added to Cart.
You need to Login before ordering or if you are new you need to register yourself and log-in. If you dont log-in and if you click on BUY NOW image, you will be prompted to login or register.
The items selected is added to the Cart, where you can view the CDs/VCDs/DVDs added to cart previously. You can change number of quantities of each CD/VCD/DVD which you have added to Cart. You can also remove any CD/VCD/DVD from the Cart. You can also view the Total Price of all the items available in Cart. Further if you wish to add some more CD/VCD/DVD, you can go back to select additional items by clicking on Continue Shopping Link or you can continue with the selected items in Cart and proceed to shipping address form by clicking on Proceed to Shipping link.
You will be required to fill a form for shipping purposes where you need to enter your Shipping Address. You also need to select a mode of payment (Credit Card, Cheque etc) and Submit. You will now get an order confirmation message with an orderid which means your order has been received and accepted.
Please note that your should not enter any single quote ( ' ) anywhere in the Billing address (while registering), Shipping address or in the Cheque Details. This is a limitation of Miscorsoft Techonology, which do not allow this character ( ' ) in the tables.
What if the power goes off while I am shopping?
Not to worry! All the CD/VCD/DVD you have selected for order and which you have added to cart, will be stored in the "Cart". To view the items available in Cart, click on View Cart.

What is "My Account"?
Whenever a customer registers with HamaraCD.com/HomeVideo or makes a purchase, an account is created for him. Here, the details of all his orders are stored. The customer can access his account using his user ID and password and view his orders along with the order status.
Can I edit my Shipping and Billing Information?
Yes you can. Just click on "Edit Profile" link to change billing address. This link is available on right side of each page.
Can I change my E-Mail Address and/or Password?
Yes you can. Just click on "Edit Profile" link to change your E-mail address.
To Change password just click on Change Password link.

Once your orders and payments are fully processed, we pack your CD/VCD/DVD for shipping. This is done with special care, so that you receive your order in perfect condition. You will receive your order by courier at the Shipping Address submitted by you while filling up the online order form.
What is Shipping Address?
The address where you want the shipment to be made is called the Shipping Address.
Do I pay any shipping charges?
No! Shipping is absolutely free.
How do I track my order?
You can track your order at any time after placing your order. Just go to the My Account page to check the status of your order.

To find your CD/VCD/DVD, you can use "Quick Search". You can also browse through the information by category such as Comedy, Classic, Romance, Family Entertainment etc. You can also click on the Cateogy listed on the left hand side of every page which contains Top selling / popular CD/VCD/DVD which helps you select your facourite CD easily.
How do I search for a particular CD/VCD/DVD?
If you have a reasonably clear idea of the CD/VCD/DVD you want to buy, first select a category from dropdown list, for example Comedy or Classic etc. Once you have select the Category, enter the CD/VCD/DVD title or keyword in the textbox provided and click on Search. If you not sure whether the particular title which you are searching belongs to which Category, then you can choose Any Category from dropdown Category list and enter your keywords. Then click on "Search" button. You will now get a list of CD/VCD/DVD which match your keyword specified by you. You need to select your CD/VCD/DVD from the list.
For Example: If you need to search for "The Matrix", you can enter the keyword as "Matrix" or "The". If you enter the keyword as "The", then all the CD/VCD/DVD having title "The" will be display, you need to select "The Matrix" from the displayed List.
What happens if my search fails?
Your search may fail for the following reasons:
1. We do not have the CD/VCD/DVD with us.
2. You may have typed the wrong spelling.
Ex: If you type "Body Guard" instead of "BodyGuard".
